CSR initiative of AVNL to empower Border Villages through Clean Energy & Hope at Shillong

A Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) was signed between AVNL, Assam Rifles and Antogattva Foundation (AGF) for the Project Bright Horizon (Solar Home Lighting System), a CSR initiative of AVNL to empower Border Villages through Clean Energy & Hope on 06.10.2026 at Shillong to bring development to the scarcely populated 39 villages covering 383 households in four states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland on the Indo-Myanmar border as part of Phase-I of this project.
Shri Sandeep Salve, Director HR/AVNL, Lt. Gen Vikas Lakhera, Director General Assam Rifles, Maj Gen Jai Singh Bainsla, ADG Assam Rifles, Dr.Vikas Talwar of Antogattva Foundation and Dr. Rohit Srivastava were present during the MoU signing ceremony.
