Shri Satyabrata Mukherjee
He holds B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University. He is alumnus of Defence Service Staff College, Wellington and MSc in Defence & strategic Studies from University of Madras.
Being the top student of MSc Course in Military Vehicles Technology in the College of Management and Technology, UK, he was awarded Challenger Trophy by Defence Academy of UK by Cranfield University in 2009.
He has a diverse background spanning defence manufacturing, quality control, R&D, project management and HR. He has a proven expertise in leading complex defence system development, Projects and manufacturing processes.
He is recognized for promoting indigenous capabilities and managing international collaborations and has been awarded 'Ayudh Bhushan' by erstwhile OFB for defence production excellence.
Prior to appointment of CMD of AVNL, Shri Satyabrata Mukherjee served in AVNL as Director (Operations). He has started his career as IOFS in 1991 from NADP, since then he served in many positions of Ordnance Factory Tiruchirapalli, Ordance Factory Board, Heavy Vehicles Factory and Ordnance Factory Medak and as Director (HR) of IOL.
